The Future of Star Wars – George Lucas: “I get to be a fan now”

If you’ve not yet heard, Disney has bought Lucasfilm for $4.05 billion, and have announced the first trilogy of new Star Wars films will begin with Episode VII in 2015.  Along with the Star Wars franchise, Disney also owns the rights to Indiana Jones, Skywalker Sound, and Industrial Light and Magic.

So for those that were fans of the prequel trilogy, might be able to breath a little easier, as it seems George Lucas and Kathleen Kennedy have mapped out the future of Star Wars, along with story treatments for the new trilogy.
