Kentucky Theaters showing DOCTOR WHO: THE DAY OF THE DOCTOR in 3D on Nov 25th

Just the other day BBC America announced the eleven US cities that would have theaters showing the 3D cinema release of the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special The Day of the Doctor.  For us Whovians in Kentucky, the closest city was Atlanta.  However, along with the announcement of the eleven cities, it was also mentioned that another special screening, much more nationwide, covering 300 select cinemas, would occur two days later on November 25th.  Below are the theaters here in Kentucky that will be showing The Day of the Doctor on Monday, November 25th at 7:30pm.

  • Hamburg Pavilions 16, Buy / Buy RealD 3D         Lexington, KY
  • Fayette Mall, Buy RealD 3D                                       Lexington, KY
  • Florence 14, Buy RealD 3D                                         Florence, KY
  • Mall of St Matthews, Buy RealD 3D                        Louisville, KY
  • Newport Levee 20 with IMAX, Buy RealD 3D     Newport, KY
  • Cinemark Richmond Centre, Buy RealD 3D        Richmond, KY
  • Town Cinema, Buy RealD 3D                                     Ashland, KY
  • Tinseltown Louisville, Buy RealD 3D                     Louisville, KY

I will say as a side note, Police Box Paradox will likely be at the Richmond, KY location that evening.  (Once able to, that will be confirmed)  So anyone close by is welcome to come join us and say hi.)

For those not here in the Bluegrass state with us, you can check out where the closest screenings are for you here.

Any guesses (or knowledge?) if BBCAmerica will show a replay of the 50th, the same night of the 23rd? I think they will, but others may know. Would rather watch with whole family, and not able to at 2pm (EST)…thanks

Thank you so much for this list. I was so sure it wouldn’t be playing here at all.
